Hewitt Promoted to Assistant Operations Manager

Matthew Hewitt has been promoted to Assistant Operations Manager to assist with overseeing the bank’s Operations Department.  Hewitt joined Mountain Valley Bank in 2017 and has held the positions of Teller, Head Teller, Internal Support Specialist, and Operations Support Manager since that time.  Hewitt is a native of Randolph County and is a 2016 graduate of Davis and Elkins College with a BS in Sports Management and a minor in Business.  During his time at Elkins High School, Hewitt lettered in basketball, soccer and tennis.  His senior year he was named co-captain of the Elkins High School basketball and soccer teams.  More recently, Hewitt earned pro-status with the American Cornhole Organization.  Hewitt resides in Elkins with his wife, Kristen, and their daughter Elliana and is the son of David and Pam Hewitt of Elkins.
