Phillips Promoted to Chief Financial Officer
Douglas K. Weese, President and CEO of Mountain Valley Bank, N.A., has announced the promotion of Logan A. Phillips, C.P.A. to Chief Financial Officer.
Phillips joined the bank’s management team as Controller in March 2024. Phillips is a native of Randolph County and graduated magna cum laude from Davis and Elkins College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. During his time at D&E, Phillips was a member of the men’s basketball team and achieved the leadership position of team captain. Phillips also holds a Master of Science in forensic accounting and fraud examination from West Virginia University. Phillips is a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs and is a two-year graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking.

Phillips resides in Coalton and is the son of Dennis and Sandy Phillips. He has one sister, Paige Phillips.
